Privacy Policy for AquaOps
AquaOps is an Android application developed and published by ResoluTech Solutions (“ResoluTech Solutions,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how AquaOps accesses, uses, stores, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use the application.
1. About AquaOps
AquaOps is an operations and maintenance tracking application designed for RO (Reverse Osmosis) and water-treatment plant operations. Features may include daily plant readings, running-hour monitoring, TDS recording, plant history, maintenance and technician records, operational photo verification, reports, PDF sharing, and local backup and restore. AquaOps is designed primarily as an offline application.
2. Information Processed by AquaOps
Depending on the features used, AquaOps may process:
- Plant names, plant details, apartment/facility/site information entered by the user
- Meter readings, TDS readings and operating hours
- Maintenance information, technician visits, charges and notes
- Dates and timestamps associated with operational records
- Operational verification photographs
- Report settings such as an email address or WhatsApp destination entered by the user
3. Local Data Storage
AquaOps is designed to store its operational database primarily on the user's Android device. ResoluTech Solutions does not operate a cloud account or central AquaOps server for the application's normal offline operation. Operational records remain on the device unless the user deliberately exports, backs up, shares, deletes, or otherwise transfers them using available application or Android functionality.
4. Camera and Operational Verification Photos
AquaOps may request access to the device camera when operational photo verification is required. The camera is used to capture photographs associated with RO/water-treatment plant operation records. AquaOps does not use the camera for advertising, profiling, facial recognition, or surveillance. Verification photographs may include a capture timestamp and may be resized and compressed to reduce storage usage.
5. Photo Retention and Deletion
Operational verification photographs are retained temporarily for operational verification and reporting. When a report containing the applicable verification information has been marked as shared, AquaOps may retain the associated verification photographs locally for up to 7 days before automatically deleting the image files.
Deleting a verification photograph does not automatically delete its operational record. Plant information, readings, verification status, capture/attempt status, relevant timestamps, and report history may remain in the local application database.
6. Reports and User-Initiated Sharing
AquaOps can generate reports containing plant operational information, including operating hours, the latest recorded TDS, maintenance and technician information, verification status, and verification photographs where applicable. AquaOps may use Android sharing functionality so the user can share a report through an application selected by the user, such as WhatsApp or email.
Sharing is initiated by the user. Once information is shared with another application or recipient, its subsequent processing is governed by that application's or recipient's privacy practices and terms.
7. TDS Information
TDS values are operational measurements manually recorded in AquaOps. AquaOps uses the latest recorded TDS value where a current TDS value is displayed in summary information. AquaOps does not calculate an average TDS value for this purpose.
8. Backup and Restore
AquaOps provides local backup and restore functionality. Backup files may contain information stored in the AquaOps operational database. Users are responsible for protecting backup files they export, copy, or transfer outside the application's private storage. Verification image files may be managed separately from database backups to reduce storage usage.
9. Internet and Cloud Services
AquaOps is designed primarily for offline use. The core application does not require a ResoluTech Solutions cloud account to maintain daily operational records. Third-party sharing services may require an internet connection and process shared information under their own privacy policies.
10. Advertising
AquaOps does not use its operational data for targeted advertising. If advertising or analytics services are introduced in a future release, this Privacy Policy and applicable store disclosures will be updated as required.
11. Sale of Personal Information
ResoluTech Solutions does not sell personal or sensitive user information processed by AquaOps.
12. Data Security
AquaOps uses Android application storage and platform security mechanisms to help protect locally stored application data. Users should also protect their Android devices using appropriate device security measures. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Data Retention
Operational records are retained locally for as long as required by the user or while they remain in the application's local database. Verification photographs follow the temporary retention process described above. Backup files remain until removed through backup-management functionality or by the user. Uninstalling AquaOps may remove application data stored in application-specific storage, subject to Android's backup, restore, and storage behavior.
14. Data Deletion
AquaOps does not currently require an online AquaOps account. Where supported, locally stored records and backup files can be managed or deleted using the relevant AquaOps functionality. Users may also remove locally stored application data through Android application settings or by uninstalling the application, subject to Android's own backup and restore behavior.
15. Children's Privacy
AquaOps is intended for operational and facility-management use and is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly design AquaOps to collect children's personal information for advertising or profiling purposes.
16. Third-Party Applications
AquaOps may interact with applications installed on the device when the user chooses to share or open content, including messaging, email, PDF-viewing, and file-management applications. Those applications operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when AquaOps features, data practices, legal requirements, or application-store requirements change. The current version will be published on the ResoluTech Solutions website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
