3. How We Use Information
Information stored in Sipwell is used to provide the App's features, including:
- Displaying your profile and personal preferences.
- Calculating and displaying progress toward your hydration goal.
- Recording your water intake and displaying hydration history.
- Providing hydration reminders that you configure.
- Personalizing the experience within the App.
4. Local Storage
Sipwell stores application data locally on your Android device using local application storage. This may include your profile, hydration history, daily goal, reminder settings, and other App preferences.
This information is not uploaded to ResoluTech Solutions servers by Sipwell for the purpose of maintaining your profile or hydration history.
5. Notifications and Reminders
Sipwell may request permission to send notifications so that it can provide hydration reminders that you configure.
Notification behavior may also depend on your device's operating system settings, notification permissions, sound settings, volume, Do Not Disturb settings, battery restrictions, and other device configuration.
You can control notification permissions through your device settings and, where available, through Sipwell's reminder settings.
6. Information We Do Not Collect for Server Storage
Sipwell does not require you to create an account and does not require you to provide information such as your email address, phone number, or password to use the core hydration-tracking features.
We do not sell your profile information, hydration history, or reminder settings.
7. Sharing of Information
Because Sipwell is designed to keep your profile and hydration data locally on your device, we do not routinely receive or share that information with third parties.
We may disclose information if required to do so by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Your Sipwell information remains on your device until you change, delete, or reset it, or until the App's local data is removed.
If you uninstall Sipwell or clear the App's data through your device settings, locally stored Sipwell information may be deleted. After reinstalling the App, you may need to create a new local profile.
9. Security
Sipwell uses the storage mechanisms provided by the mobile operating system to store application data locally. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users should also protect access to their device with appropriate device security.
10. Children's Privacy
Sipwell is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an online account or server-based profile.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us through a communication channel, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
